It’s has been an interesting week, this previous week. My daughters, one who works at an insurance agency and the other a world ministry, are always around those who are sick. Being young and vital they, of course, either don’t get sick or get over it quickly. Not so for Dad. So, this week been down with stomach flu and everything from personal correspondence, to work stuff, has NOT gotten done!
Asking for prayers for health and peace.
But I’m also asking for others as is my want, so many are in real need. One of my best friends Walter,…

Asking for prayers for my buddy Pete’s family down in New Mexico. His mother, Pauline, went in for knee surgery about a month and a half ago and has yet to leave the hospital. It has been rough going for the family.
She now has an infection, on which they operated and attached a vacuum tube to her back to facilitate clearing the infection out. This after 2 previous operations that had at one point left her without feeling or control of her legs. Though that seemed to be on the mend—then the infection occured.
This would be tolerable…

Really needing prayer right now. I fell on Friday a week ago, and it left my neck and pain in really “praising God” mode! I may have reinjured my neck, I broke it and my back in 1994, and will need to go to the E.R. when my daughters get home.
I’m asking for all who read this to stand with me in prayer that God’s perfect will be done—whether that is healing or recuperating, etc. The pain is rather intense.
It also has pretty much halted work on everything. You may have noticed some changes here, but believe…

It’s been an eventful week, with testings, emergencies, people ending up homeless, family members in the hospital, and major health challenges. I must admit that on some of these occassions my first response was not, praise God! But by His Grace, I finally did come to a point of rejoicing and peace. It was a long journey, but all said and done, worth the trip!
Anything that brings you closer to God is worth it.
But it does leave me asking for prayers for the following things, Jim Duffy’s son Dante (and Jim as well, of course), my son Christopher…

Dear Praying Army of POG,
I’m asking for your much needed prayers. My ex-husband has filed motions to change in court. He would like to not only end his alimony payments but he is asking the court to claw back payments that he’s already paid. Plus cancel the arrears he still owes us. I got a booklet of motions he’s filed. Leaving me with no choice other than respond and contest his motions. If all his motions were passed - I would wind up owing him money!
I’m a disabled…
